Features

  • Capable of about 10 seconds of continuous fire

  • Muscle-activated (using this Myoware sensor)

  • Ruggedly built, safe for use in various weather conditions

  • Works with any gaseous fuel mixture, I found that Butane is the cleanest and most reliable

Components

  • Structure is a composite of PLA and TPU plastic

  • Gas chamber and ignition site are made from chemically resistant PTFE, aluminum and brass

  • Major electrical components include:

    • Arduino Mega 2560 R3​ (probably overkill)

    • A small OLED display for debugging

    • Two hand-soldered perma-proto boards

    • A rechargeable battery bank from Amazon

    • Some buttons and switches I had lying around
